Together We Stand, Divided We Fall - Public mural in North Philadelphia

Located at 903 W. Indiana Avenue in North Philadelphia, this mural honors the memory of Rodolfo 'Cholo' Rodriguez and Petra Yamira Vargas, a young couple whose lives were tragically cut short in this neighborhood during the late 1990s. At the heart of the composition are their memorial portraits, framed within a larger visual narrative exploring the tension between good and evil. A central symbolic figure—a soldier who has sacrificed for peace—anchors the piece, surrounded by imagery representing justice, healing, and hope. This work stands as both a tribute and a beacon of peace in the community.
